The Quilotoa is a beautiful crater lake that is set high in the Andes. This  lake was formed when a volcano blew its top. The lake is about 250 meters deep. The lake has catching blues and greens as the sun changes angles along its surface. It is  beautiful place to visit with your family.

Mindo

Basilica del Voto Nacional

The basilica is the most important work of neo-Gothic Ecuadorian architecture. the church is one of the most representative of the America.
The Basilica is 140 m (460 ft) long and 35 m (115 ft) wide. It is 30 m (98 ft) high in the sanctuary, 15 m (49 ft) high in the votive chapels, 74 m (243 ft) high in the transept, and 115 m (377 ft) high in the two frontal towers.
Visitors are able to see the sanctuary for $1.
The access to the rest of the church are from  $1–3. Visitors are able to climb to the top of the towers. From the highest point of the main tower, we can see the city and the mountains.

El Panecillo

El Panecillo is a statue of 200 meters high in a volcanic- origin. The statue is located between the Southern and Central part of Quito. Its peak has an elevation of 3,016 meters above the sea level. The original name was Yavirac. There was a temple which the Indians used to adore the Sun, the temple was destroyed by the Spanish conquistadores. The street that goes to the Panecillo is Melchor Aymerich.
